The rear frame sections feature a C-channel design, providing a flat mounting surface with pre-drilled holes and an industry-standard 34-inch frame rail width, making for simplified aftermarket body upfit and accessory installation.

Ram Chassis Cab offers buyers a choice between the 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 with 429 pound-feet of torque or a 6.7-liter Cummins turbocharged in-line six-cylinder diesel with 800 pound-feet of torque. Both engines are paired with the TorqueFlite HD eight-speed automatic transmission. Depending on which engine you choose, you have great capabilities, ranging from 6,830-pound payload and a 25,000-pound Gross Combined Weight Rating (GCWR) to a 12,370-pound payload and a 43,000-pound GCWR.
